WHO ARE WE?

TAGEERO is a community-based voluntary organisation.

TAGEERO was established to tackle the health and social problems facing the Horn of African Refugee’s community living in Hillingdon.

TAGEERO offers free  advice on health services. Our aim is to build  bridges between local health providers, social services and the refugee community in Hillingdon.

  We understand how hard it can be when someone close to you is misusing drugs or alcohol. We also advise and support  children with behavioural problem and people with mental  health problems. We strongly believe that families and carers should have  access to the support  they need to help them cope. We also provide health promotion in the Somali community.
SERVICES WE PROVIDE We have qualified social workers who have long experience working in these areas, who are here to help you.
We offer free and confidential:
  • One-to-one counselling support to individuals, and families.
  • Community assessment through consultations.
    We provide advice and information on drugs,  mental health and Children with behavioural problems.
  • Referrals to all involved agencies.
  • Undertake health awareness within the Horn of Africa Refugee community.
  • Outreach support for young drug users.
  • Outreach support for primary school children with behavioural problems.
  • Conflict mediation support.
