Harefield is a village in the northernmost part of the London Borough of Hillingdon and has a world famous hospital which deals with heart and chest surgery. As a council ward in Hillingdon Borough it is bigger than the whole Borough of Camden in central London.

Harefield is a picturesque place with lakes and canals and farmland - which is quite unusual for a London Borough.

There is plenty to do for anyone who has a yearning for the outdoors with Hillingdon Outdoor Activity Centre situated in the area. Here you can learn to sail, canoe or windsurf among other water sports and it is a popular venue with many groups both young and old.
