Hillingdon Play Association developed out of Hillingdon Play Network and was launched in 2006. The Chair of the association is John McDonnell MP.
It aims to raise the importance of children's play in the eyes of people in Hillingdon and to expand and improve the opportunities for children to play.
Currently the HPA has one full time worker funded by Hillingdon Children's Fund. You can contact her at HAVS where she is based.
The Hillingdon Play Association in conjunction with the Sure Start service and the Children's Fund are commissioning a play strategy. This will enable the spending of the Government money being allocated to improve play in Hillingdon.
