The project was set up by Hillingdon Play Network with the support from London Play and HAVS. A full-time Inclusive Play Development Worker is funded by Hillingdon Children’s Fund until March 2008. The project is based at HAVS (Hillingdon Association of Voluntary Services) and steered by Hillingdon Play Network.

Aims of the Project

  • To support voluntary and community groups within the borough to develop high quality, inclusive and sustainable play provision.
  • To promote the children’s right to play and the importance of children’s play to children’s overall health and well-being.
  • To work with play providers to overcome barriers to the involvement of disabled children in after school clubs and holiday play schemes.
  • To identify training needs and provide training information that will help play workers in making their services more inclusive.

I will be more then happy and try my best to support or give advice to voluntary or small group who provide play activities to children and young people aged 0~19. Please contact me if you need information on funding and training.
